How do I obtain a Congolese biometric passport in Belgium?

Pre-register online at passeport.gouv.cd, pay the fees, then book an appointment. Come to the Consulate General with your documents and your pre-registration number for the submission and biometric data capture. You are notified by e-mail when the passport is ready, then you collect it at the Consulate General.

How long does it take to get my passport?

Allow 3 to 4 weeks as a guide, once your file is complete. You are notified by e-mail as soon as the passport is available.

How much does a visa for the DRC cost?

Fees depend on the duration and the number of entries: 1 month, €85 (single entry) or €115 (multiple entries); 2 months, €125 or €160; 3 months, €175 or €200; 6 months, €240 or €310. Processing time is the same day for foreign applicants of Congolese origin and their spouses, and up to 10 working days for other applicants. What are the opening hours of the Consulate General of the DRC in Antwerp?

Document drop-off from 9 am to 12 pm, document collection from 3 pm to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Address: Justitiestraat 6B, 2018 Antwerpen, Belgium.

How do I cancel or change my appointment?

Use the cancellation link in the confirmation e-mail. Can’t find it? Write to rdv@consulatrdc.be with your name and pre-registration number.

I lost my passport and I need to travel, what should I do?

A passport substitute (tenant-lieu de passeport) is provided for this case. Call +32 3 281 57 00 or write to the secretariat to confirm your situation.

How do I recognise an official website or message?

Procedures are carried out only on passeport.gouv.cd, e-nif.dgirdc.cd or directly at the Consulate General. Beware of intermediaries and write to us if in doubt.

What is the consular district of the Consulate General in Antwerp?

The Consulate General in Antwerp covers Antwerp, Flemish Brabant, East Flanders, West Flanders and Limburg. It also welcomes nationals coming from other regions and neighbouring countries (France, Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands, etc.).
